With a remarkable career in the arts spanning over five decades, Terry Fenton brings his incredible knowledge and involvement in contemporary arts across Canada and the U.S. to elevate Canadian landscape painting. Fenton’s landscapes are distinct. Viewing them from the lens of abstraction, Fenton draws upon international influences such as Kenneth Noland, Anthony Caro, and Jules Olitski. From his strong compositions to his choices of colour and form, Fenton synthesizes these ideas and distills them into the Canadian landscape tradition in a manner only achieved through years of keen observation, research, and expertise.

Leighton Foundation (1987-1993), and the Mendel Art Gallery (1993-1997), and has developed a deep understanding of the Modernist art movement throughout Canada and the U.S.
